1. How do I get exposure with MusicSend™?
The MusicSend™ idea for you is to get exposure for and to distribute
your music to the world. It the cold world of the "music business"
there had traditonally been a
barrier to entry for the Artist and, thus, some of the talented, yet
unconnected, are unable to have their music heard outside of their
immediate community of
friends/family/fans. With MusicSend™ you have a vehicle for showing
off you and your music. You can establish it and let it ride or you can
change your presentation
daily if you so desire. You can send music to people via email in order
to promote yourself. Once you gain momentum with a growing and
dedicated legion of fans, your
music could be included in the MusicSend ™ radio which includes a
viral MusicSend ™ player for use all over the cyberspace! Everytime
someone, somewhere, somehow
gets a chance to hear your music, you have the potential for expanding
your fanbase. Is this a wonderful world, or what?
2. How can I get on the Top 20 chart?
An artist can get on to the MusicSend ™ Top 20 Radio Chart by
popularity. Our Top 20 is based purely on popularity. Popularity is determined
by the number of unique
plays that an artist has on MusicSend ™. In order to rise "up the
charts" an artist would need to promote their music, garner new fans,
increase their plays, which
will increase their fan base, which will increase their popularity
which, in turn, will increase their chances of walking their poodles in
Bevery Hills!
3. How do I add songs to my profile?
First, you must login to your account manager from the members page. From there you may click
on the "Music" button, which will take you to the music upload page. Using the music upload
form, you may select desired MP3 file from your computer and upload it to our server as a new single.
You may also group your singles into albums, to better organize your music. Please note that MP3 files must
be no more than 128kpbs and sampled at 44.1 KHZ.
4. Does MusicSend™ own rights to the music I submit??
MusicSend ™ does not own the rights to your songs, you do. By using
MusicSend ™ you are granting us a non-exclusive license to play your
music on our website and on
MusicSend ™ radio. You agree to this when you agree to the terms and
conditions of use of MusicSend ™ as a prequsite to joining us. In the
event that MusicSend feels
that they can aid you in other ways, you and MusicSend and you will
enter into another agreement which expressly outlines what your music will
be used for and what is in
it for you. In other words, you are in control of your music, it
belongs to you.
5. What's the maximum number of songs I can upload on MusicSend™?
